Alfresco generally offers its enterprise software as part of annual subscriptions or multi-year term models, for example over three, five or seven years. This results in lower entry costs for companies compared to traditional purchase licenses. At the same time, the overall costs remain predictable, as the subscription already includes all components – software, updates, maintenance and support.
It is possible to take out a subscription for individual (e.g. Alfresco Content Services) or multiple software packages (e.g. Alfresco Content and Alfresco Process Services). It is also possible to license a package offer, the so-called “Alfresco Digital Business Platform”. In addition to Alfresco Content Services (document management/ECM solution) and Alfresco Process Services (workflow engine and process tool), this also includes Alfresco Governance Services (audit-proof storage)
Subscription fees are based on the Alfresco edition selected, the product configuration and the number of users required.
No, Alfresco only uses a subscription model.
The maintenance services are fully included in the Alfresco subscription. When you purchase licenses from it-novum, you receive German-language first-level support from our experts.
The license and access keys provided remain valid for the entire term of the subscription. If new Alfresco versions or updates are released in the meantime, they can be downloaded at no additional cost and used directly with the existing license information.
An active subscription is required to operate the Alfresco Enterprise software. If this expires and is not renewed, the associated license keys lose their validity – the Alfresco software can then no longer be used.
It is possible to extend the subscription flexibly during the subscription period. It is also possible to reduce the scope of the subscription at the end of the subscription period.
